Preparation checklist for a sleep study
- Have Clean Dry hair, avoid face creams and all make up. Remove nail polish and if possible be clean shaven.
- Bring Personal Belongings, i.e. Favourite pillow, night attire and shampoo to wash your hair the following morning.
- Avoid all caffeine (e.g. Tea, coffee, cola, chocolate) after 12 Midday.
- If you usually consume alcohol in the evening, you are strongly recommended to bring the equivalent with you to consume on the night of your study, as they may affect your study.
- Take all your medications as prescribed on the day of the study - if unsure please contact the clinic.
Dinner will be provided for you.
PLEASE NOTE:
To avoid a cancellation fee, a minimum of 7 days notice is required if you are unable to attend your appointments. Please telephone the rooms on 9481 2244. Your consideration in this regard is appreciated as we have patients in need of earlier appointment times.
